Got a call from someone claiming to be Vodafone saying my bill needed paying - which was strange since my payment was actually due. When I mentioned I pay by direct debit, they said it had been cancelled. I’m always careful not to share bank info on calls, so I ended the conversation and checked my account on my own. Turns out everything with my Vodafone bill and direct debit is perfectly fine. Definitely a sketchy caller, so don’t ever hand over your bank details to callers like that.
