I got a call about a £1800 PPI claim and was told they'd send a cheque in the post. But when I said I’d cash it at the bank, they said the bank would take 40% off unless I signed up for some life insurance deal. When I said no thanks to the insurance, they just cut the call. No cheque has arrived and they even gave me some reference number that sounds fishy. Feels like a classic scam, like if it sounds too good to be true... it probably is!

Was looking to switch up my IP address and ended up getting a call from these so-called "technicians." Honestly, they're nothing but a pain and you'd think they'd find better things to do rather than bugging people. I've blocked the number now, though I'm sure they'll just try ringing from somewhere else.
