Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent claiming to be from BT, said there were loads of problems with my internet and they might cut it off but they wanted to help me fix it. He said today he'd show me the issues on my PC and out of nowhere, said tomorrow an engineer would come over to sort things out. Never heard that one before, probably trying to make it sound more legit. It’s one of those classic scams where they get you to open event viewer and then tell you what nonsense to do next. Totally dodgy.
