Got a call from someone saying they were from BT, telling me if I didn't press 1 my phone and internet would be cut off. Total scam, defo dodgy! Such calls are really risky, best to just hang up right away.

I got a call from a bloke with an automated voice claiming he was from British Telecom, warning me that my internet and landline would be cut off by tomorrow. He kept telling me to “press 1” to sort it out. Didn’t fall for it at all, but if I wasn’t clued up on these scams, it could’ve been pretty dodgy.
