Received a call from a number claiming to be British Gas, but I was feeling rather suspicious. Not long before, I had an odd call from an 020 number which raised my eyebrows when they started probing about my British Gas account - I promptly hung up. The same chap rang me a couple more times, but I chose to disregard those attempts. Then, out of the blue, I got a call from the above number. Guess what? It was him again! How on earth can someone be ringing me from London one minute, then apparently from Pontefract just moments later? It’s all very curious, to say the least!
