Got a call on my landline from some bloke with a really boring voice saying that my broadband and landline would be cut off yesterday, said to press one for tech support or something like that. Was clearly a scam. Then today, got the exact same message but from a different phone number. I reckon if you press one they just charge you a fortune. Stay clear of it!
