Today, I received a rather odd phone call from a bloke with an unusual accent who claimed to be from BT. He went on about how my internet connection had been hacked and insisted that I grant him access to my computer so he could sort it out. Clearly, this was a ploy, especially since BT isn’t even the company I’m with.
