Some bloke with a weird foreign accent rang up, claiming he wanted to talk about a serious accident I’d been in. He asked if it wasn't my fault, but I told him straight I never had any accident and told him to do one. Meanwhile, my lad, who's somewhere else, keeps getting bombarded by the same annoying calls. We’re both signed up to the TPS, but it doesn’t look like it makes any difference. Total scams, all of it.

My landline went off and when I picked up, a young lady with a foreign accent said she was Lisa and asked how I was doing. I replied, "I'm fine, thanks" and then just ended the call. Pretty sure it was just some telesales nonsense.

Got a call from a lady claiming there was an accident involving our car, which we know we weren't responsible for. The line was really bad, so I had to ask her to repeat herself. Then some bloke took over, saying the other side in the crash would be paying us a big payout through their insurance. I ended up giving loads of personal info - my address, birth date, car number plate. After hanging up, I looked up the number and realised it was a scam. Now I’m feeling pretty anxious about it all.
