Today, Wed 6th Dec 2023, at about 2.35pm my phone was rung by this number 01975354874. I picked up and said "hello" a few times but there was nothing, just silence. After waiting a bit I hung up. Looks dodgy to me, so I’ve blocked it now. Pretty sure it’s a scam call.

Got a call from +441975354874 earlier. Tried calling them back but it just wouldn’t go through at all. Feels a bit dodgy to me, like a scam or summat. Just thought I’d warn folks so you don’t get caught out like I nearly did. Won’t be giving them anything, that’s for sure.

They said they were from Vodafone, offering some bargain phone offers. The voice sounded obviously fake, like an AI or something. I told them they already have all my info, so just send the phone if that’s true, but then they just hung up on me for no reason haha. The number had a local area code as well!

Got a call from someone claiming to be Vodafone saying I could get 40% off on my contract. They wanted my email, but I told them surely they’d already have it. When I asked who they were after, they said the account holder. So I asked them to name who that was, but instead they pushed me to give my email first, and then refused to say anything else before hanging up on me. Definitely felt like a dodgy scam in the making, haha.
