Just got another one of those automated calls from some bird warning that my internet’s been hacked and it’ll be chopped off today unless i press 1 to speak to a ‘bt tech’ or press 2 for other suppliers. The second option is new to me, usually it’s button 5 for the disconnection threat. I’ve had loads of these dodgy calls from different numbers, which i always block as soon as they show up. BT seriously needs to step up and do something to stop these annoying scammers bombarding folks. Fingers crossed not too many people fall for it.
