A caller claimed to be from BT and told me my IP address was hacked, and someone in California was accessing my PC. When I asked for proof, he gave me a number to call, 02032908242, so BT could verify his identity. He then asked me to locate my IP address and log into the app store, also wanting to know if I used online banking or shopping. I said I'd just ring BT directly myself, and that's when he abruptly ended the call.
