I had a rather unpleasant experience with an Indian chap who attempted to masquerade as someone from HMRC. His dodgy phone etiquette and clear lack of understanding revealed him as nothing more than a fraudulent con artist. Honestly, what a sorry excuse for a scammer!

Received a call on my phone claiming to be from 3 network. The line was quite patchy, and after the conversation fizzled out, I've decided to block the number.

I had a bit of a dodgy experience with a chap who claimed to be ringing me from Curry's PC World. He was keen to peddle a mobile phone and threw a load of different offers my way. I wasn't interested in any of it, so I turned him down flat and subsequently blocked his number.

I received a phone call from someone purporting to be from O2. The connection was rather poor, and I struggled to grasp what he was saying, so I mentioned that I was at work and suggested he ring back later. He had quite an accent, a mix of Indian and American, and kept addressing me as "ma'am." Quite an unusual conversation, to say the least!

I received a call from a number I didn’t recognise, and the individual on the line failed to identify themselves. I have no clue who it might be.

I only pick up calls from numbers I recognise, and this one popped up on my work line, which is a bit baffling as I have no clue how they got that number! I chose not to answer, looked it up here, then immediately blocked it and added it to my list of pesky scammers.

I've spotted this number in my voicemail, but the one recorded in my missed calls is 02894106013. It seems that both are flagged as mobile scams. I’d recommend blocking both numbers immediately.

Received a call claiming to be from Currys PC World, attempting to peddle a mobile phone. The caller's English was rather difficult to comprehend. I ended the conversation and wasted no time in blocking the number.
