Had this guy with an Asian accent telling me there was an issue with my broadband, swearing up and down it wasn’t a scam. Proper funny, I played along and said he could call me next week. Then I blocked his number - doubt he’ll be too chuffed about that!

I received a call from a bloke claiming to be from British Telecom, insisting that I needed to hop on my computer so he could sort out some supposed hacking issues. To be honest, I have my doubts about his credentials, so I promptly ended the conversation and hung up.
