Sky's calling me again with some "Lucy" who sounds all Indian or something. Nope, I can't handle foreign accents on the phone, and definitely won't take anything from Sky anymore. After seeing those Indian call centres on telly last night, just mocking and stressing folks out, I'm done. From now on, the whistle stays right next to the phone for emergencies, no more risking it with those calls.

I received a call earlier today from an Asian gentleman whose speech was rather difficult to follow. I asked him thrice to speak more slowly. One term he mentioned resembled "sky," although I’m quite certain it wasn’t that. When I repeated "Skye," he confirmed it and then hastily mentioned something about a £200 refund-at least, that’s what it sounded like to me. The start of the conversation was rather quiet, so I suspect it came from a call centre. I ended the call quite abruptly!

Really believable scam. On the very first day, you get a call with a recorded message saying your Amazon Prime subscription is about to run out. Then, a couple of days later, they ring again telling you the payment for the first month has been taken from your bank. At the end of that call, they ask you to hit 1 if you want to talk to someone about it.
