I've been receiving calls from 01792 521373, but it’s utterly perplexing! I answered and greeted, saying hello a handful of times, yet all I got in return was silence. Eventually, they hung up without a word! What a strange affair!

Received a dodgy call from TalkTalk, I suspect it’s a scam.

We answered the call, only for them to hang up immediately. This has happened a couple of times now, and the last occasion we were met with a robotic farewell. Looking through the comments, it’s clear we’ve been revisited by those pesky TalkTalk scammers. They hadn’t bothered us for a good while, but it appears they’re back causing mischief again.

I chose not to pick up the phone, but interestingly, I received two other calls from entirely different numbers last week. The callers were insisting they were from TalkTalk. I've gone ahead and dropped an email to TalkTalk with the details of those other numbers, despite the fact that I'm not even a customer of theirs. It's clearly a scam, isn't it?

Claimed to be from TalkTalk, but when I mentioned that our connection was perfectly fine, he abruptly disconnected the call. Quite odd, if you ask me!

I received a robotic message today stating that my BT internet would be cut off imminently and that I should "press 1" for more information. Quite worrying, to be honest!

I received an automated telephone call purporting to be from Virgin Media, though the voice sounded distinctly American. They went on to inform me that my internet service would be cut off as of today.

This is the second time today that this "caller" has chosen to interrupt my tranquil afternoon. The first ring came a mere thirty minutes ago. I can't help but ponder how many more intrusive attempts will follow.

Today, the 3rd of April 2018, I received a call on my landline from the number 01972 859746. That area code belongs to Glenborrodale up in Scotland, and to be honest, I don’t recognise the number at all. If it had been someone familiar, I reckon they would have left me a proper message!

I didn’t catch any voicemail from the caller, but I saw this number pop up on my caller ID just a mere ten minutes ago thanks to 1471. I’ve been inundated with scam calls lately, so I’ve decided to stop answering them entirely. Now, I just let the phone ring and hope for the best — if there’s even a voicemail left to begin with!

Claimed to be from TalkTalk but turned quite confrontational when I mentioned I wasn’t interested in chatting. I told him to drop me an email instead.
