The call originates from an Indian call centre, and their aim is to seize control of your mobile and laptop to fish for your banking information. If you happen to receive a call from this number, it’s best to block it immediately and refrain from answering. Stay vigilant, folks!

Received a call this afternoon (27th October) around 4 o’clock. Caller ID suggested it was from a Scottish number. He introduced himself as ‘Alvin’ – though his accent resembled a Yorkshire pudding more than anything from Scotland! I ended the conversation swiftly, and thankfully, I managed to keep my cooler.
