Received a call concerning a car crash I supposedly had... but I assure you, that’s a complete fabrication!

I received a rather distressing call from this number regarding an incident involving a car accident linked to my phone number. I've never experienced such rudeness in my life—this person ended up shouting at me! Surprisingly, they were unable to provide any details whatsoever!

When I answered the phone and greeted the caller, all I got in return was a deadpan silence before they abruptly hung up.

I received a call today from a chap with an overseas accent claiming to be from some accident helpline. I informed him that my last mishap was way back in 1978, and that we’ve been registered with the Telephone Preference Service for yonks now. Yet, despite this, we still get these nuisance calls with monotonous regularity; the only variation being the phone number they use.

I picked up the phone, but there was just silence on the other end. So, I decided to do a bit of digging on this site, and it turns out they’re just a bunch of fraudsters! I've been inundated with similar calls recently. Just this morning, the caller was wittering on about my computer issues!

I received a call today regarding a car accident. The caller claimed to represent a business based in Manchester and provided a freephone number, 0800464923. However, when I pressed him about the possibility of it being a scam, he abruptly ended the call.

Received a call regarding a car accident that I allegedly experienced. I informed them that I had no such incident, and then they simply disconnected.

Just had a call at 8 in the evening. When I picked up and greeted them with a 'hello', they promptly disconnected. Seems like a dodgy scammer looking to target those who are a bit more vulnerable. I've made sure to block that number!

I received a call regarding a car accident that I apparently was involved in. I ended the conversation prematurely. Just to clarify, my number is unlisted and is on the Telephone Preference Service register.

Received a call at eight in the evening; I picked up and greeted them with a ‘hello’, only to have them hang up on me. Seems like a typical scammer trying to target someone vulnerable. I've since blocked the number for good measure.
