Quite alarming, I must say!HMRC4 yearsI got a call from someone saying they were from my phone company, trying to pitch some special deal for current users. When I asked which company exactly, they didn’t mention the one I use. After I pointed that out, they insisted that my number was registered with them. I didn’t bother sticking around on the call to get more details.4 yearsGot a robo call saying there's an HMRC tax fraud case on my name and if I want to talk to someone from HMRC I should press one. They warned me that if I don’t, a warrant will be out and I’ll be arrested soon. Honestly, if I pressed one, I’m pretty sure some dodgy scammer would just try to rip me off for heaps of cash.
