I found the whole thing rather baffling. It claimed to be a health survey, yet the caller had my name, address, and postcode! Naturally, I chose not to respond to any of her queries. When she prodded me about what I'd do in an emergency, I simply said I'd ring 999. Then she continued to press about what I'd do if there was no response, and I couldn't help but wonder if she even understood how 999 functions.
