5 yearsIt appears I received a rather dubious phone call claiming to be from Amazon’s security team regarding an iPhone purchase. The caller inquired whether we'd actually placed an order and also asked for our internet provider’s details. I promptly advised my partner to hang up. The chap on the other end was very courteous and seemed credible, continuing to probe for information. However, as the phone was on loudspeaker, it raised significant concerns for me. He was quite insistent, and I fear that had I not been present, he might have extracted more sensitive information to facilitate some sort of scam.
