I had a rather unexpected call on my mobile the other day from a number that started with 07394, specifically 07394 329939. It seems like Amazon is really going all out with their Prime Membership promotions!

Received a call supposedly from my bank’s "security" division, stating they were investigating a couple of payments to Amazon. One of these charges was over a grand and flagged as an international transaction. Definitely feels like a scam to me.

Received a dodgy call about some supposed charges on my card from Amazon. Clearly a scam!

Received a dodgy call claiming to be from my bank, insisting there were two questionable transactions—one supposedly from Amazon and another I can’t even recall. I didn't stick around to hear the full spiel; I just ended the call.

I received a dodgy call purporting to be from Amazon Prime, claiming a hacker had gained access to my details and was about to make unauthorised purchases. Complete nonsense!

Just received another dodgy call this morning. The person on the line pretended to represent my bank and insisted they needed to verify a couple of transactions—one for Amazon and another going overseas. I didn't waste any time and just hung up on them.

I received a rather dodgy auto-call purporting to be from 'bank security', but they never disclosed which bank they represented. They claimed there were two dubious transactions on my account this morning: one to Amazon and another for a money transfer. Honestly, even if true, the amounts were far beyond my available balance (not that I took any of it seriously). Curiously, they didn’t even use my name or ask me for any sort of password. I’m just so fed up with these fraudsters popping up everywhere these days. Absolutely infuriating! 😡

On the 17th of November, 2021, around 12:55 PM, I received a call from someone feigning to be from my bank, asking for my consent to authorise some payments to Amazon. I ended the conversation promptly.

I received a recorded message claiming that my bank account has been accessed by Amazon for a sum of £1000. The thing is, I haven’t made any purchases on Amazon for ages!

Fraudulent activity.

Ha! Nice try, but it's rather amusing that you think I’ve just had a grand lifted from my account for an Amazon Prime order. Here’s a tip: I certainly don’t have a spare £1000 lying about! Good luck trying to enjoy that windfall because you've just been BLOCKED!

Received a call from someone purporting to be from TalkTalk, claiming that my internet connection was compromised. Definitely sounds like a scam to me!

Amazon - A total con!

Received a call purporting to be from Talk Talk, alleging they’d seen unusual activity on my account. When I pressed them for their phone number, they flat out refused and just kept regurgitating the same spiel. I did a quick 1471 and looked up the number here, and surprise, surprise – total SCAM artists! Stay vigilant folks!

I had an unexpected call from someone purporting to be from TalkTalk, who insisted that our internet had been compromised. He introduced himself as John Williams but turned quite hostile when I requested some form of verification. Quite alarming, really!

I've just received yet another dodgy call claiming to be from Amazon.

Received a call claiming to be from BT regarding my internet service, but we actually don’t use BT at all. Seems like a scam to me!

Received a call inquiring about some banking activity earlier today.

I’ve just received a rather dodgy automated call from this number, claiming that there were two unauthorised transactions linked to my Amazon account. It urged me to press 1 for authorisation or 2 to chat with someone. I promptly hung up and added the number to my blocked list.

Received a call from bank card services inquiring about two transactions that need my approval. Absolutely not! I'm not falling for that one!

Fraudulent activity! AVOID sharing any details with them. It's a money con, plain and simple!

Received a call from the number 01970709833 on my home phone.

Received a call from this number roughly ten minutes back, claiming to be from TalkTalk, which made me chuckle. A woman introduced herself as Amanda, but when I requested a contact number to return the call, she didn’t take it well. She then passed the phone to a gentleman, who also appeared rather perturbed by my inquiries. Quite the experience, I must say!

Received a call on my mobile featuring a recorded message about renewing my Amazon Prime. It's obviously a con. I've since blocked the number.

I received a call from an Asian woman claiming that my internet IP address had been breached. I assured her there were no issues on my end and mentioned I’d get in touch with my internet provider if I did encounter any problems. In response, she resorted to insulting me by calling me an "old fu.g lady." Clearly, it was a rather poor attempt at scamming me.
