Got a call from an unknown number but no voicemail or message left behind. I'm not gonna bother if I don't recognise the caller or get any info from them. After a quick search, seems like it was one of those HMRC scam calls, so just thought I'd share that here.

This lady said she was from Microsoft warning me that my PC was under attack and they could fix it. I told her I was already in contact with the police and a fraud team and that I’d be giving her info to them. Right after that she just ended the call!

This number called me earlier and left a recorded message saying I was linked to tax avoidance issues by HMRC. When I tried calling back, the call just wouldn’t connect. The number shows up as being from Aberystwyth. Pretty suspicious if you ask me.

Got a robo voicemail from this number claiming to be hmrc. Tried ringing back on another phone but it just said the number wasnt in service. Checked and it's definitely not a legit hmrc contact.
