Someone called me trying to pitch this trust thing, saying it stops you from having to sell your house if you end up in a care home. Felt a bit dodgy to me.

At about 5:08pm on Friday the 8th, I got a call from this number. I don’t recognise it and they didn’t drop any voicemail either.

I let it go to voicemail and no message was left. I figure if it’s really urgent, they’ll ring again or drop a message. Seen a few others say it’s a Welsh number linked to some kind of medical scam, so I’m just gonna block it from now on.

Got a call from 01970607528 on 8th July 2022 around 11:46am but they didnt leave any voicemail. I figured out the number by ringing 1471 afterwards. Pretty sure it was some sort of scam.

Got a call from a lad who said his name was David and that he was from some security service. When I cheekily asked if he was a 'big boy', he just hung up on me. Proper shy, that one!

Just got a ring from this number, they were saying I could qualify for a free medical alert pendant. I didn’t catch the company’s name though, which seemed a bit fishy. Legit businesses normally don’t cold call like that, so I’m marking this number as suspicious.

Got a call from someone named "John" who started off by asking if I was over 50, saying I might qualify for a medical alert. I told him I wasn’t interested and quickly ended the call.

So this guy called, said his name was John and claimed he was with Medical Alert. He told me I qualified for a free medical alert device or something like that. Not sure where he got that idea, since I'm perfectly fine and don’t have any mobility issues. I just told him thanks but no thanks and ended the call.

So, I kinda went ahead and applied for a loan on this site called pdlk, and they actually approved me. Big mistake, honestly. I'm down about £400 now, and every time I ask them when I'll get my money back, it just feels like they're taking me for a ride. Seriously, steer clear of these lot. I've had to get my bank involved and they've kicked off an investigation into the whole mess.

I got a call saying I might qualify for some kind of medical ID badge, not sure what that’s about. Sounded a bit dodgy to me.

I asked a few questions about their "info" which seemed fishy, and that made them quit the call pretty quick, especially after they started speaking in some proper old-fashioned English.
