Got a call about some sort of medical alert pendant. Didn’t give out any personal info like my name or where I live, definitely no bank details either. Just said it was too pricey for me and hung up. I’ve now blocked the number on my BT landline so hopefully, I won’t get bothered again.

So this number rang me up saying I’d won some competition prize I apparently entered. They asked for my bank details, and daft as I was, I gave it to them. Next thing I knew, loads of money had vanished from my account. Total scam, be warned!
