I've encountered these dodgy characters pushing Medical Alert Pendants. Whatever you do, don’t share any personal details with them!

I received a call regarding some sort of medical alert pendant. I was careful not to divulge any personal details like my name, address or banking information. I simply explained that it was beyond my budget. I've since blocked the number on my BT phone, so I shouldn’t have to deal with any further calls from them.

I've been receiving some rather intrusive calls lately, purportedly from a life insurance firm. They ask an array of personal questions that seem rather excessive. It's quite clear to me that their main aim is to extract as much information as possible from unsuspecting folks like us. Quite bothersome, really!

They claimed to be from Shell regarding energy services. Gave it a quick look on this site and realised it was a scam, so I went ahead and blocked the number.

I’ve just had an energy sales call, and while I’m absolutely fine with chatting to people from abroad, the woman who rang me struggled quite a bit with her English. Concepts like dual fuel and exit fees seemed to throw her, which made the conversation quite convoluted. She wasn't rude or aggressive in any way; it was just really challenging to follow along.

I've come across loads of these numbers sporting various UK area codes, and it appears they all tie back to that pesky utility claim scam, as indicated by the multitude of reviews here. I've gone ahead and blocked several numbers from different regions, but they just keep trying again from yet another area code. It’s infuriating, to say the least!

I recently had a lovely chat with a woman from a charitable organisation. She rang me up to see if I’d be interested in making a donation, and I agreed. It was such a pleasant surprise, especially since I tend to get bombarded with scam calls these days. Glad this one was genuine!

I received a rather dubious notification stating that I’d won a prize from a competition I participated in. The people on the other end requested my bank account information, and foolishly, I provided it. To my utter dismay, they siphoned a significant sum of money from my account. Absolutely infuriating!

It seems like there might be a mix-up with the phone numbers. Whenever I pick up, there's this blaring music in the background, and occasionally the person on the other end tries to say something. However, when I reply, it’s like I’m talking to a wall—no response at all. Quite the peculiar situation, if you ask me!
