Got a call on my phone today from some bloke. When I asked who it was, I repeated myself twice trying to get a name. Eventually, he said his name was Gareth, then suddenly told me to "f*** off" and just hung up! Honestly, he called me, I should've been the one telling him to f*** off!

Got a call earlier from a number I didn’t recognise, was waiting for a call from some important firm so figured it might be them. Rang back straight away and ended up stuck on some kind of techno-music hold for ages. I'm pretty sure they’re billing me for that time too. Such a pointless hassle, honestly feels like they deserve to be lined up and treated like dirt.

Just got a call a minute ago and decided to look up the number. That’s how I ended up here.

The moment I picked up, the line went dead. Seems like those call centres ring loads of folks at once and the moment one person picks up, they cut off the rest of the calls... saves them a bit of time I suppose.

Got a call from a telesales person about some supposed “accident” in the past couple years. She rattled off this whole story about cash being available for me, including car hire costs (which I never used) and personal injury claims. I made it clear no injuries happened and I wasn’t going to make things up. Her reply? Well, she said it was my choice to decide! Really dodgy.

I got calls on both my mobile and landline from some bloke saying he was investigating a car crash I'd supposedly been in. Told him he had the wrong person, but he kept insisting I was involved in an accident. This isn’t the first time I’ve had these kinds of calls, it’s been happening quite a few times now.
