The catch is, I don’t even own an Amazon Prime account, so I figured it was just a dodgy scam. I’ve since blocked the number to stop any further hassle.

got a call from some automated voice pretending to be amazon. they said my amazon prime membership was gonna renew soon for £79. then they told me to press 1 if i didn’t want that to happen. of course, pressing that just led to someone trying to get my private details for their scam. total scammer move.
