Got a call not long ago from 01969568642. The person asked how I was and said they were from BT. I asked who they wanted to talk to and they said the house owner. So I told them, “are you just calling random numbers to try and scam folks?” and then they just hung up. Pretty obvious what it was about. Watch out everyone, it’s a scam!

Got a call with a recorded voice claiming they were from BT, warning me my IP address was hacked and threatening to cut off my internet. Thing is, I’m not even a BT customer, so feels like a scam to me.
