Ignore these calls! Someone rang claiming to be from Citizens Advice, offering a Government scheme to clear debts. When I asked how they got my info, they just refused to say. As soon as I said I wasn’t interested, the guy started getting annoyed and kept pressing me for a reason. That’s when I told him to **** right off and blocked their number.

So this bloke, calling himself "Mark" and sounding like he was from Asia, rings me up. Can't work it out why. I mentioned I was feeling really down, struggling with my debts, and then he just dropped the call! Just when I was about to explain more too. Unbelievable!

Got a call from a woman with a really strong Indian accent claiming she was from the CAB, saying I was flagged for owing money. I decided to humour her and said how sorry I was that scammers have been giving honest Indian folks a bad rep, especially when they target people struggling with debts that the CAB actually wants to support. I even spun her a tear-jerker about how my debts were ruining me and that me and my three kids were about to be kicked out. After about six minutes, she just hung up on me without a word. I was only just getting going!

This bloke called me up, going on about how much debt I supposedly had. When I just replied with a casual "really?" he sounded proper eager. I ended the call, but then he rang again saying his crew was right outside my house. The funny thing is, I was actually sitting in my car on the driveway then, lol.

I got a call on my mobile from an Asian lady who somehow knew my name straight away, even though I hadn’t given it out. When I asked who she was, she wouldn’t say but started going on about some legal debts I supposedly owed. I told her that wasn’t true and called it a scam, then they just hung up on me. Curious, I rang back (even though I probably shouldn’t have) to see if I could catch the company’s name. An automated male voice said something like GFK Limited. Since the woman brought up money I supposedly owed, I figured it was a debt collection agency. The automated message gave some options, like press 1 to return the call, then it asked to leave contact details, but then said it was full. When I tried to press 5 to stop calls, it responded with 'sorry, not a valid extension' and started the message over again. At one point I thought it mentioned GSK Ltd, but they’re a medical firm, so it can’t have been them. I also checked out what I thought might have been GXK Limited, but that company’s dissolved and clearly not related. So, all things considered, I reckon it was probably GFK Limited. One thing I noticed was how quickly these people say their name or company, probably so you can’t write it down or make sense of it properly.

This bloke claimed to be from some government charity and insisted they could help clear my debts. Then he kept going on about me owing £5000 on credit cards, which I knew was rubbish. I told him I wasn’t interested, but he just wouldn’t stop trying to convince me I was in debt in all sorts of different ways.
