I received a call from a gentleman with a proper English accent, claiming to be from BT. He ominously informed me that our internet service was set to be terminated as of today! Following that, a pre-recorded voice prompted me to press 1 for more info. Whatever you do, don’t fall for this! It’s definitely a scam call. Just remember, genuine BT communications come from 0800 numbers. The call came from a Scottish area code, to boot!
