I got a voicemail saying my BT phone and internet would be cut off unless I pressed #1 to sort it out. As soon as the message started, I hung up. It definitely smells like a scam because: - The English was pretty rubbish. - BT wouldn’t ever use an automated call like that to tell you about payment issues. - I don’t even use BT for my broadband. - Plus, my bills are all settled via direct debit, so no chance they’d be cancelling anything. I reckon if you pressed #1, you’d end up speaking to someone trying to scam your bank details. Proper dodgy stuff.
