Got a call from some lot claiming to be the “Friendly Scam” crew from “Sky”, saying they’d slash 30% off my bill. I called them out, told them they were just trying to con me, and off they hung up straight away. The call showed up from a place called Acharacle, which I’d never even heard of before. Did a quick search and turns out, this wee village in the Scottish Highlands is where an Indian scam call centre is based!
