Got called by someone claiming I'd been charged £39.99 for an Amazon monthly subscription. They said I had to press 1 to talk to someone to stop the payment. Sounds like a usual scam to me, especially since I don’t even have an Amazon Prime account. A bit of a new trick but totally bogus!

Got calls claiming to be from Amazon, trying to swipe cash from my bank account, but I've never had an Amazon account. It's a woman with a North Atlantic accent. She rings me loads using different mobile numbers. Today alone, she's phoned me 6 times from 01963220874.
