Yesterday, while I was having a lovely lunch with my family, our landline rang incessantly. Initially, I chose to ignore it, thinking it might be a nuisance caller. However, the calls just kept coming, so begrudgingly, I picked up the receiver. On the other end was a chap purporting to be from BT. He ominously informed me that my internet connection had been compromised and was keen to assist. When I probed him about the necessary steps I should take, his instructions were utterly absurd! I politely expressed my gratitude for his assistance and promptly hung up. I've since verified with my actual provider and, thankfully, there’s nothing amiss with my broadband. I'm certain this was a scam of some sort, so take heed of such schemes-these fraudsters and cybercriminals truly know what they’re doing!

Since about half past eight this morning, this number keeps calling my home phone roughly every couple of hours. Each time, there's an automated female voice claiming to be from my internet company, warning that my internet has been involved in illegal stuff and will be disconnected within a day. They say to press 1 to talk to an operator or 2 to reach the tech department. It's starting to get really irritating now.

Since about 8:30 this morning, this number has been blowing my landline up every couple of hours. There's some robotic woman saying it’s my internet company and that my connection’s been used for some illegal stuff, threatening to cut it off in 24 hours. She tells me to press 1 for an operator or 2 to reach tech support. Honestly, it’s starting to get really tiresome.
