This person said that my internet was going to be cut off because of some dodgy activity on my router - something about hacking. When I asked questions, they got my internet provider wrong the first time, then gave me a wrong account number the next. They told me to look at my bill for the correct account number. I told them I already knew my account number and that wasn’t it, then they just hung up. They did know my full name and phone number though, so I guess it could trick someone who didn’t have their details ready.

Got a call from a firm saying they were doing a survey. They told me all I'd have to do was say yes or no. But then the first couple questions were asking for my name and address - stuff they already had. I didn’t want to give anything away, so I just ended the call. Total spam, just trying to fish for private info. Had to block the number after that.

Got a random call from some number I don’t recognise, and at 8:45 in the morning (felt like the dead of night to me). I picked up but just left the phone down without saying a word. The person ended the call straight away, so I reckon it was from one of those call centres - probably one of those dodgy ones in India.
