Got a call from a solicitor bloke from India about some accident. When I said I hadn’t been in an accident, he started firing off loads of daft questions. I told him to mind his own business and hung up. Then he rang back saying they’d cover #### costs or something. I just laughed and slammed the phone down once more.

Watch out, this is one of those accident claim scams. They try to convince you that you could get some compensation, then quickly ask for your card info. Don’t fall for it! Never hand over your details on the phone to anyone like that.

Got a call from someone saying they were with a PPI firm and that I could get my money back from the bank. The bloke’s accent was really thick and made it hard to catch what he was saying. Ended up just hanging up.

Got a call from an Asian guy who asked if I was there by name, then claimed the person I was asking for wasn’t home and just ended the call. Definitely sounds like one of those call centre scams.
