got a call from someone named rose claiming to be from bt in london. she said there was some kind of problem with my pc and that people might be accessing it without me knowing. then she started explaining how i should let her get into my computer to sort it out. i wasn’t having any of it.

Got a call saying my BT line was gonna be cut off soon. I told them to just do it then. Definitely one of those scams, probably aimed at older folks. I’ve shared this on a BT forum to warn others.

the same old automated voice claiming to be ‘bt technical support’ is just a front for those scammers out of the subcontinent. such a worn out trick.
