I was on live chat with Utilita and had to wait bloody 4 hours! Then they called me back and stuck me on hold with no explanation. I’m stuck with no gas! The number is real but the staff on the other end just leave you hanging for hours with no help, still stuck on HOLD now, so frustrated!

They rang me up, saying I could save more than a hundred quid if I switched to their company. While I was still waiting for the switch to go through, they sent me a letter saying sorry but prices are actually going up. I hadn’t even moved over yet, so no savings for me at all. Someone was meant to come round last Friday to deliver my in-home monitor, but they never showed. I kept emailing them to get answers, and today I missed a call from them. I told them to only email me, as I don’t pick up calls from unknown numbers.

Its Utilita again, been getting calls from them since November last year. I told them I wasnt interested in their services, but they kept calling every month. Just the other day, they called me once more. I asked them to send me the details by post. Then I got a letter saying my electricity supply was being switched to them. I got in touch with my original supplier and made a complaint. They told me to call Utilita back. When I did, they said my 14-day cooling off period had ended the day before I phoned. I never agreed to anything. So watch out everyone.

Utilita - I told them a bunch of times on the phone and by email to stop calling me, but they just ring from different numbers and when you pick up they act all shocked and sorry like they "forgot" to remove me. Guess I’ll just keep blocking them over and over!

Got loads of calls on my mobile, they ring three times then stop cos I never pick up unknown numbers. I messaged them saying 'TPS Registered - call again and we’ll take legal action' - they didn’t bother calling after that… until maybe tomorrow? TPS is meant to work but heaps of calls come from India where their rules don’t apply. All you can do is block each number as they keep coming. Or pick up and just stay silent, let them get annoyed. You kinda gotta be old to find that entertaining though.

Utilita rang me about setting up an appointment for smart meters, even though I already got them fitted. I told them a few times, and eventually they said it was just a switch over. They haven’t called me again after that.

I was with Utilita and waited more than half a year for a smart meter to be installed. Then they said they couldn't do it because my electric meter was tied to my neighbour’s and they'd need their permission. Basically, the engineer just didn’t feel like fitting it. Such a waste of time.
