Got a call from someone claiming to be EE but didn’t give a name. I’m not even an EE customer. When I asked why they were calling, they just ended the call. Tried ringing back but the number was unreachable.

They called me claiming to be from some company named My Car, trying to get me to do a car finance review. I told them I'm on the phone preference list and don’t deal with cold calls. Then I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.
