Got a call from someone saying they were from EON about our electric meter reading. They reckoned our meter wasn’t linked to the right postcode and accused us of giving wrong details. The funny thing is, we never actually send in meter readings ourselves. The caller asked for our account info and the meter number found at the top of our bill. I told him he should already have that in their system if he was legit! Called the whole thing rubbish and ended the call. Since then, he’s kept ringing our office, trying different numbers. Proper fishy behaviour.
