This morning I got a call from 01959 546184, but the line stayed quiet until I picked up. Then a recorded woman's voice told me it was from my bank’s fraud department, saying there were two dodgy transactions on my account earlier today - one for £100 to Amazon Prime and another for £800 sent overseas. I just hung up straight away!! It’s obviously a scam and the government really ought to crack down on these calls, but I doubt they will since it doesn’t line their pockets with freebies or donations!!
