Got the same type of call once more, but they keep switching the numbers on a daily basis. I've blocked this number now and every other one that pops up. I always check the caller ID and refuse to pick up if I don’t recognise the number. Seems like they use robocalls first just to see if someone's there. If you pick up and there’s silence, watch out - they might ring back from the same or a different number trying to scam you. Better to just steer clear.

I never actually found out who kept ringing me, but it felt dodgy. They’d always be asking for the same person and switched up their phone numbers each time. Most times they claimed to be from some Benefits UK place - bit sketchy if you ask me.

On the 31st of October, 2018, around 4:33 pm, I got a call from a man with an Indian accent. He spoke English, but he was going way too fast for me to keep up. When I asked him to slow down and say it again, he just ended the call.
