Beware of this number claiming to be from BT with an STD code for Mid Yell. When you call, a recorded message tells you your broadband contract ends today and to press 1 to fix it. But it's not BT on the other end - I got a woman who spoke a different language and sounded annoyed before hanging up. I contacted BT since my contract isn’t due for a few months, and they confirmed they’ve been getting loads of complaints about this scam. Apparently, the scammers just switch their number whenever anyone tries to shut them down.
