I received a call from this number, purporting to sort out some alleged issues with my internet connection, claiming to be associated with BT and Openreach. They proceeded to instruct me to follow a series of steps on my computer to supposedly resolve the matter. Then, they bizarrely requested remote access to my PC. I didn’t go along with it, as I was simply curious to see how far they would push their scheme. In my opinion, it’s a scam. When I attempted to call them back, it turned out the number was dead. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!
