They claimed to be from TalkTalk but couldn’t give me any real evidence when I asked. Then they got rude and shouted something like “are you f - - -4 illiterate?” so I just hung up on them.

They claimed they were with TalkTalk, but I just didn’t bother and ended the call. Then went ahead and blocked the number straight away.

Yesterday, I got a call from someone saying they were from TalkTalk, claiming there was an issue with my modem and that I was being hacked. I mentioned I have antivirus software, but they kept pushing the story. I told them there are loads of scams about and asked for a letter from TalkTalk instead. Then they rang me again today. Honestly, it’s pretty sickening.
