At precisely 10:58 on the 7th of December 2023, I received a rather dodgy automated call purporting to be from Visa. The message went on about potential fraudulent activity involving my card-specifically mentioning some Amazon Prime subscription and overseas transfers. I was instructed to "press 1" to connect with an advisor. Blimey, it sounded pretty fishy to me!
