Last night, a rather dodgy caller had the gall to ring my grandmother and attempt to extort money from her! They were demanding cash, claiming that if she didn't comply, our computer would be rendered useless. It's quite amusing, really, considering my grandmother hasn’t a clue about how to operate a computer in the first place!

Somebody left a really scary voicemail for my granny about paying up or her computer would stop working. Luckily, she does not own a computer, so she wasn't fooled. But it’s worrying because if they’re aiming at older folks, there might be others who’d believe this rubbish.

Some scammer left a really scary voicemail for my grandma saying she needed to pay up or her computer would stop working. Lucky for us, she has no computer at all, so she wasn’t worried. Still, it’s pretty awful they’re going after older folks who might actually be tricked by stuff like this.
