I keep getting really annoying calls from these lot, they’re so rude too. They ring from all sorts of different numbers and say they’re from Microsoft, telling me I’ve installed something dodgy on my computer. They always ask for the person who had this phone line before me by name. I’ve told BT but all they’ll do is offer to change my number, which isn’t helpful. This has been happening for about 4 years now. Total scam, definitely.

Had almost the same thing happen like the stories from 11/5 and 10/5. Best to just avoid it, pretty sure it’s a scam.

Got a call from this number, some guy with an accent saying he was from tech support and my computer was in some kind of serious trouble. I got a similar call a couple of months back and the bloke got pretty pushy when I didn’t play along. This time I just told him I was ending the call. They’re just trying to get remote access to your PC, definitely a scam.

Some bloke called saying he was from Microsoft, said my PC had some serious error or something. Asked if I could let him have a remote on my machine so he could sort it out. Sounded fishy if you ask me! Definitely a scam, watch out for these dodgy calls. The guy had a thick Indian accent too, and the line wasn’t great. Probably a hacker on the other end. Stay safe folks!
