Like others have said here, I got a call from a robot with an American voice saying I need to press 1 or else my internet would be cut off. What’s a bit worrying is the number showed up as being from a local area code. Pretty clear scam really; I just blocked the number now, but I could see some people falling for it because it looks like it’s from nearby.

Got a call on my landline from an automated voice claiming to be from an internet provider. She kept saying they’d been trying to reach me because my IP address was supposedly compromised and being used in loads of different countries. She said if I pressed 1, their tech team would fix it, otherwise my connection would be cut within 24 hours. Yeah right, they’re on my block list now!

Got a recorded call warning that my IP address was hacked in multiple countries and that my internet would be shut off in a day. I knew it was dodgy straight away so I just ended the call. It was on my landline though so I can't block the number. Looks like I’ll just have to ignore it until they stop bothering me!
