I received a rather peculiar call inquiring about a compensation claim related to an "accident" I supposedly had. The thing is, I've had no such accident, so I can't help but think it must be some sort of scam.

Received an unsettling silent call from 01954211824 this morning, and I suspect there are more to come. It would be brilliant if these annoying calls could just be put to an end!

I received a call from a gentleman with an Indian accent who introduced himself as Ricky, claiming to be from some tech support service. I promptly directed him to take a hike. He attempted to ring me again, but I firmly told him to jog on. So far, he hasn’t bothered to try again... fingers crossed.

I allowed this chap from India to prattle on about repairing my computer, but in the end, I just told him to clear off.

I received a call from this number, claiming there was an issue with my internet connection and computer. They started instructing me to hit various keys on my keyboard, which raised my concerns. I decided against providing them any personal information and firmly stated I wouldn't comply with their requests. The caller became quite flustered, and I swiftly ended the conversation.

I received a call from a rather dodgy sounding fellow who claimed that my computer was compromised, although apparently I wouldn't even know it! When I pressed him on how he acquired my name and number, considering I'm ex-directory, he promptly hung up. It strikes me as the beginning of a scam. It would be marvellous to see these types brought to justice, possibly by hitting them where it hurts - their wallets. That seems to be the only way to get through to these leeches.

I had a call from an Indian chap who introduced himself as Wayne. His English wasn't exactly the best, and he went on to claim that my computer was in a bad way and that I required his assistance to sort it out. Well, I won’t keep you in suspense about my response!

The person on the line seemed utterly baffled by my name, struggling to pronounce it correctly. When I pointed this out, he apologised and promptly ended the call. I've since added that number to my block list. It’s quite frustrating, really; I wish there were some authority I could reach out to that would take these sorts of calls seriously. I even contacted Ofcom, but alas, since the caller didn’t disclose their business identity, they wouldn’t escalate the matter. Quite a hassle!
