Got a call asking me to verify the caller but I’m all out now.

Somebody rang me saying I had a service agreement - which I definitely don’t - and seemed to know I pay my utility bills by direct debit. They were offering a gas boiler check for about £6, no contract needed. I ended the call straight away, but they phoned again asking why I’d cut them off and said they were from a company called ‘Boiler Safe’ or something like that. When they started asking for my Visa card details, I hung up once more. They tried ringing two more times after that, but I just ignored them.

I received a rather daft phone call today from some con artist prattling on about my boiler. It was painfully obvious that he hadn’t got a scooby-doo what he was yammering about. One minute he was rambling on about my utility charges, and the next he was banging on about my boiler warranty. It didn't take long to realise he was just trying to fish for my personal details. Complete numpty!

Keeps ringing and when I finally ask who's on the line, they just hang up. They've called me about three times this week, and they still can’t pronounce my name right!
